UBL has announced the Call of Entries for the 11th UBL Literature & Arts Awards, marking a decade of acknowledging and awarding Pakistani Talent. Authors with books written from January 1st 2021 to December 31st 2022 are invited to submit their work which will be assessed and considered for the award by a panel of respected literary community member judges. Entries can be sent in the following categories:
Fiction – URDU
Non-Fiction – URDU
Poetry – URDU
Translation into URDU
Children’s Literature – URDU
Fiction – ENGLISH
Non-Fiction – ENGLISH
Children’s Literature – ENGLISH
Debut Book – URDU
Debut Book – ENGLISH
Best Song Lyrics
Best TV/OTT Drama Script
Best Pakistani Languages Literature
Best Online Literature

Terms & Conditions:
Authors must be Pakistani Nationals or of Pakistani origin. All submissions must be sent along with the author’s/sender’s contact details including their CNIC/NICOP, a cover letter indicating their Name, Address, Telephone/Cellphone Number & Email ID (please mention the category the book is being sent for in the subject line). Four copies of each submission must be sent along with the nomination. Plagiarised submissions, and their authors, will be barred from this event and any such event in the future. Books published within and outside Pakistan by Pakistani authors can qualify for entry.

Song must be released during the award assessment period. Original online link to be sent to ula.submissions@ubl.com.pk Script in Urdu language only. Drama to have had its run during the award assessment period. Please name TV channel or OTT platform of airing. All books published in the award assessment period in any Pakistani language other than Urdu and English. Can be in Urdu or English. Any type of literature as long as it has only been published online, and not as a book, during the award assessment period. Link of work can be sent to ula.submissions@ubl.com.pk
