Karachi: After the flood disasters in Sindh, the provincial government has prepared a strategy for relief activities.The Sindh government has announced a procedure to provide seeds to flood-affected farmers, 13 billion rupees have been allocated to provide seeds on subsidy, and five member committees have been formed at the district level to provide seeds. Tapidar, Field Assistant of Agriculture Department, Members District Council and others have been added.

The Agriculture Department has issued a form for the supply of seeds on subsidy. The name of land owner and land owner and land documents will be checked on the form. Bank account or mobile account option will be taken from the affected farmers for the subsidy seed amount.

According to the agreed procedure, the message of cash for seeds will come in the style of Benazir Income Support Program, a total assistance amount of 13 billion rupees will be distributed at the rate of 5 thousand rupees per acre.

Due to the recent flood, ready crops were damaged on 3.6 million acres while the farmers suffered a loss of Rs 421 billion, after which the Sindh government allocated Rs 8.39 billion and the federal government allocated Rs 4.7 billion to provide free wheat seeds. The total amount is 13.5 billion rupees.
