Tourist visa holders from other countries like UK, USA and permanent residents of any EU country will be eligible for this new visa. However, there is an exception for those who have a UK or US business or tourist visa in an EU country, if they have visited Saudi Arabia before applying for an e-Visa.

From 1st November, pilgrims from abroad will be allowed to perform Umrah, at which time the number will be increased to 20000 on a daily basis, while 60000 people will be allowed to offer prayers in the Masjid al-Haram. The Saudi Interior Ministry says that in the fourth phase, Umrah, pilgrimage and prayers will be allowed 100 percent, this permission will be given when the relevant authorities decide to eliminate the threat of the epidemic.

The issuance of visas starts from 15 Zil-Hajj and the arrival of the pilgrims starts from 1 Muharram every year and 30 Shawwal every year. The last date for in receipt of Umrah visa applications is 15 Shawwal each Hijri year in coordination with the Saudi Foreign Ministry. The last date to go into the Kingdom for arrivals on Umrah visas is the end of the month of Shawwal of each Hijri year. One month for the duration of the Umrah pilgrimage in the Kingdom. The Saudi government has issued a royal decree restructuring visit, Haj and transit visas, and canceling repeat Umrah fees.

Saudi Arabia introduces a new Umrah policy from the new Islamic year 1442 AH. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has canceled the repeat Umrah fee in New Umrah policy 2019. Currently, the Muslims belonging to all around the world including Pakistan will not have to pay 2000 Riyal on their second Umrah in a similar year. Now the Umrah visa fee 2019 is 300 Riyal for all Muslims. The Saudi government has abolished two thousand fees and imposed 300 Riyal as Umrah visa fees on all new and repeating pilgrims.

Umrah visa is being functional through approved Hajj and Umrah agents in Pakistan. (The applicant having non-Muslim names will have to submit a certificate from a mosque or an Islamic center stating that the applicant is a Muslim.

(Procedure to apply for new Pakistani Passport) Confirmed and non-refundable air ticket which shows the departure from Saudi Arabia within two weeks from the date of entry. A vaccination certificate against Meningococcal Meningitis will also be attached.

Note: According to Saudi Arab laws, women and children should be travel with husband/father or a Mahram. Proof of relationship is required in the form of marriage and birth certificates. It is necessary for “Mahram” to travel with the same flight.
