It is predicted that Eid al-Adha may be celebrated in Pakistan on June 7, 2025. According to Pakistan’s space research organization, SUPARCO, the month of Dhul-Hijjah is expected to begin on May 29, and Eid al-Adha is likely to fall on June 7, 2025.

SUPARCO states that the birth of the Dhul-Hijjah moon will occur on May 27 at 8:02 PM, with the moon being approximately 11 hours and 34 minutes old on that day.On the other hand, astronomers have also indicated the possibility of the moon not being visible on May 27, which supports the likelihood of Eid al-Adha being on June 7,2025.

Government employees across the province will spend Eid without a salary. The Punjab Finance Department will not release the salaries of government employees. Like Eid-ul-Fitr, no advance salary will be given on Eid-ul-Adha.

The Federal Government of Pakistan has announced that it will disburse the salaries and pensions of its employees before Eid al-Adha 2024.

Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on June 17 in Pakistan. The federal government has announced Eid al-Adha holidays. There will be Eid holidays in the country on Thursday, June 17, Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19. The federal government has decided to give a tree-day holiday from June 17 to June 19 on Eid al-Adha.

If the moon is sighted on May 27, the month of Dhul-Hijjah will begin on May 28, and in that case, Eid al-Adha will be on Friday in Saudi Arabia, June 6. If the moon is not sighted on Tuesday, the first of Dhul-Hijjah will fall on Thursday,
