Applications are invited for admissions to PhD Microbiology & Molecular Biology Program (On-Campus) at Pathology Department, Rawalpindi Medical University for Fall 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility criteria for admission in PhD Microbiology & Molecular Biology will be as under:

(1) Basic Qualification: MBBS/BDS with one year house job, BS MLT with one year practical experience after qualification.

(2) Postgraduate Qualification like MPhil/FCPS in Microbiology or Molecular Biology

(3) Candidates who secured First Division in annual system or cGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 in semester system in the degrees obtained will be eligible to apply for admission in the Program

(4) Candidates will have to pass RMU PhD entrance test and minimum qualifying score shall be 70%. Those candidates who have already passed GAT Subject with minimum 60% marks or having valid GRE-Subject Test (with minimum 60 percentile score) will be exempted from RMU entry test.

(5) Applicants shall be required to submit a statement of purpose, which shall form an integral part of the application.

How To Apply:

Submit the online admission form along with the scanned copy of all the required documents and the bank draft for Rs.2000/- (Non-refundable) in favor of the Vice Chancellor, Rawalpindi Medical University, on university’s website www.rmur.edu.pk.
Dispatch the hardcopy of the submitted form along with attested copies of the documents and the bank draft in original through courier at Department of Medical Education, Rawalpindi Medical University, Main Campus, Tipu Road, Rawalpindi.
Entrance test will be conducted at Rawalpindi Medical University, Main Campus, Tipu Road, Rawalpindi.
List of candidates eligible for appearing in the test and shortlisted candidates qualifying the test will be notified on the university’s website.
In service candidates are required to apply through proper channel along with NOC from the competent authority.
