CM Usman Bazdar launches Rehmatul lil Alameen Scholarship Program for talented and deserving students across Punjab. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar also inaugurated the Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship website.

 

Students can apply for scholarships at home on PIT’s web portal. The Intermediate Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of matriculation results and the Undergraduate Rehmat-ul-Ulameen Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of Intermediate results.

Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship Program

Under the Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship Program, a total of Rs. 417 million is being given to 14891 Intermediate and BS Honors students in Punjab and it will be gradually increased. The scope of the Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship will be extended to other professional degree holders.

 

Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship for Poor and Intelligent Students in Punjab. The purpose of launching the Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship is to provide financial support to deprived students. Rehmat-ul-Alemeen is providing higher education opportunities to needy students through scholarships Rehmat-ul-Ulameen will ensure fair and transparent distribution of scholarships under the scholarship.

Higher Education Portal has been launched with the help of the Punjab Information Technology Board. The Rehmat-ul-Alamin Scholarship Program for Poor and Intelligent Students in Punjab is successfully underway. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support to deprived students. Govt wants to reduce the economic disparity between the privileged and the deprived classes, provide higher education opportunities to the students who are deprived of scholarships, ensure fair and transparent distribution of scholarships under the scholarships. Full tuition fees will be paid for BS students in government universities, intermediate students will be given tuition fees as well as scholarships. A quota for children has also been allocated.

Students from government colleges and universities will receive 14,000 intermediate scholarships and 891 undergraduate scholarships. 50% Rehmat-ul-Alamin Scholarship will be given to needy children while 50% Rehmat-ul-Alamin Scholarship will be given to students of all districts on a merit basis. Science students will get 60% and Humanities Group students will get a 40% scholarship share.

Rehmat-ul-Alameen Scholarship will also be given to students of government employees up to class IV. Each student will be paid Rs. 25,000 per annum in the form of an Intermediate Scholarship. Rs.700 million will be paid annually for the Intermediate Scholarships. Undergraduate Scholarships will be given to students studying in 30 Government Universities and Scholarships will be given to the top students in every undergraduate program of Haryana University.

The Punjab government will pay the fees for the entire academic session of each university’s topper. Undergraduate scholarships will include full tuition fees for the full academic session. Rs. 67 million will be paid annually and a total of Rs. 268 million will be paid. Poor students who drop out due to financial difficulties will benefit from scholarships.

Modern education is the right of every child. Rehmat-ul-Alameen scholarships worth Rs. 834 million are being given to talented and deserving students. Higher education is being given 285% more funds as compared to last year. And 201 colleges have been upgraded to graduate BS4 air level, 75 new colleges have been set up in Punjab while 86 more new colleges will be set up.
