According to the Oxford University Administration, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan became a member of the family, who became aware of Jianobi Asian music; he started preliminary music from the age of seven and has released more than 50 albums till now. It is clear that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has performed in a variety of concerts across the world, and has played a playback for 50 serials, title titles and Bollywood, Hollywood and Pakistani filmS

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, is a Pakistani musician, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis. He is the nephew of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and son of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan and also the grandson of Qawwali singer Fateh Ali Khan. In addition to Qawwali, he also performs ghazals and other light music.

The Oxford University had described him as a “Pakistani singer, primarily of Qawwali, a devotional music of the Muslim Sufis”.

“Born into a family whose name has become synonymous with South Asian musical tradition, he began formal training at the age of seven and has since released more than 50 albums, performed in numerous high-profile concerts across the world and amassed a global following, achieving over one billion views online,”
