Rabi ul Awwal 1444 Moon not sighted in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Moon sightings are more likely in southern parts of Pakistan.A meeting of the Zonal Sighting Hilal Committee Islamabad will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad for the sighting of the moon in the month of Rabi-ul-Awal 1444, which will be chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir, Chairman Central Sighting Hilal Committee In addition to the members, representatives from SPARCO, the Meteorological Department and the Ministry of Science and Technology will also be present.According to the moon sighting organization, the moon of Rabi-ul-Awal 1443 AH will be easily seen in most countries of the world after Maghrib prayers on October 7. The chances of seeing the moon of Rabi-ul-Awal are very high in Pakistan as well, however, the possibility of sighting is more in the southern parts of Pakistan.

Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony issued a notification. Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman chaired Person for sighting the crescent of Rabi-ul-Awwal 2022 and members of Zonal/District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees also present at the meetings at their particular seats. The meeting of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) committee would be detained at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 1st-floor Kohsar block, Pak Secretariat, and Constitution Avenue, Islamabad. The meetings of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees also held in Quetta, Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar, correspondingly.
