Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Reservations and Ticketing Agent for our Algeria operations. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused reservations and ticketing service to both individual customers and travel businesses. You will interact with customers via telephone calls or face-to-face meetings with the aim of ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and meeting annual revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Make and confirm reservations for passengers. Arrange reservations and itineraries using various resources, including timetables, airline manuals, reference guides, and tariff books. Ensure accurate issuance of ATBs for all ticketing transactions. Assist mishandled passengers, such as NOREC/DNB cases, to minimize passenger complaints. Issue tickets with the correct fare quotes to reduce passenger complaints and debit notes. Provide guidance on changes to flight plans, confirmations, or cancellations of reservations. Collaborate with load control personnel and other stations to manage changes in passenger itineraries, optimizing seating capacity on flights. Ensure timely closure of sales reports. Initiate and promote QR products to drive revenue generation. Record and process reservations received through phone, fax, or email. Handle telex messages and authorities. Determine the availability of space for requested travel dates and communicate changes or alternative options to customers or travel agents. Sell and assemble tickets for transmission or mailing to customers. Respond to inquiries from travel agencies or transportation firms, including airlines, bus companies, railroad companies, and steamship lines.
