LAHORE: With the arrival of winter, it has been decided to change the working hours of all schools across Punjab from October 15. 15 minutes earlier and girls schools will be dismissed at 01:45 PM.

The notification issued by the Department of School Education and Higher Education states that schools and colleges operating in single shifts during the month of Ramadan will be open from Monday to Thursday and Saturday at 07:30 am and noon. Closes at 12:30 p.m.

In Punjab, new working hours of schools and colleges have been issued by the special education department for the month of Ramadan, under which schools and colleges will be open at 8 am and will be closed at 12 noon. Has issued notification of working hours of special educational institutions.
The working hours of girls’ schools and colleges will be 15 minutes earlier than the above-mentioned hours. Single shift schools and colleges will open at 07:30 a.m. and close at 11:30 p.m. on Friday. On the other hand, in double-shift schools and colleges, the shift will start at 07:15 am on Thursday and Saturday and will end at 11:15 pm on Monday.

The evening shift in all schools and colleges of Punjab will start from Monday to Thursday and on Saturday at 11:30 am and will end at 03:30 pm. The Friday evening shift will begin at 02:00 p.m. and end at 05:00 p.m.
