PM National Poverty Graduation Initiative under the Ehsaas Programme
Prime Minister Imran Khan launched an Rs42.65 billion National Poverty Graduation Initiative under the Ehsaas Programme to steer the poorest households out of poverty by providing them interest-free loans, asset transfers, and vocational and skills training.
The National Poverty Graduation Initiative is the most beneficial program to steer the poorest households out of poverty. The deprived and jobless people are given interest-free loans to help them establish and uplift their small-scale businesses and support their living. Prime Minister Imran Khan has doubled the budget for the poor and laborers. Double money has been allocated for the poor. Imran Khan has deducted budgets of all other departments and even the army has voluntarily deducted their budget for the people.
Poverty alleviation programs and other government policies are a practical proof of this. Under the auspices of Bait-ul-Mal, assistance is being given to the beneficiaries in a transparent and merit-based manner. Anyone can avail of the assistance by applying for dowry, medical treatment at the nearest treasury office.
Eligibility Criteria of Borrowers
Age has been 18 to 60 years
Individuals from households on Score of 0-40
Poverty Score Card
Valid National Identity Card (CNIC)
A resident of the targeted union council of the district.
Economically viable business plan.
22 Partner Organizations (POs) of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation (PPAF). in rural areas and Akhuwat branch offices in cities & towns
Request at loon center (written or oral).
Verification of Poverty Score Cord.
Registration os a potential borrower.
Issuing of the application form and business plan form.
Submission of complete documents
