Pakistan Railways has announced a 25 percent discount on train fares on the three days of Eid-ul-Fitr. Train Ticket Price Pakistan Today, the concession in fares will be for all classes of all passenger trains.

This concession will not apply to Eid special trains. This discount announced for three days of Eid-ul-Fitr will be applicable on current tickets.

Pakistan railway ticket price 2024, Lower AC class passengers traveling to Lala Musa and Gujrat stations would now pay Rs. 700, while those traveling to Wazirabad and Gujranwala stations will now pay Rs. 550. For the convenience of passengers, 4 special trains are being run on Eid and the booking of trains for Eid has reached 100%. New economy class fares from Lahore to Lala Musa and Gujrat railway stations are Rs. 450, Rs. 250 from Lahore to Wazirabad railway stations, and Rs. 200 from Lahore to Gujranwala stations.

Pakistan railways pr train fares April 2024, 5% (Five Percent) parcel/luggage rates will be increased with effect. It is requested to repeat above instructions to all booking and parcel offices as well as to stations in order to ensure compliance accordingly.

If any discrepancy is observed by the concerned station/commercial staff, it must be reported to the office of CMM as well as Director/IT through concerned DCO’s within 7 days. In case of non-reporting of any discrepancy, changes made therein will attain finality automatically.

Cargo train prices have increased by 30 to 35% on the railways. The cost of the cargo train between Lahore and Badami Bagh Takrachchi has increased to 3.5 lakh rupees from its previous cost of 2 lakh 65 thousand 790 rupees. The cost of the cargo train from Faisalabad to Karachi has also gone up.

Karachi to Islamabad Train Fares

The previous fare for a cargo train between Multan and Karachi was Rs 201480. The Jaffar Express’s new economy class fare from Lahore to Quetta has been set at Rs. 1850, AC Lower fare at Rs. 3950, AC Business Class tickets cost Rs. 4250, while AC sleeper tickets cost Rs. 6200.

It is notified for the information and guidance of all concerned that the fares have been increased for all Mail/Express. Intercity, passenger, shuttle trains and Saloons @ 5% with effect from 2nd September 2023 till further orders Director / IT is requested to implement 5% increase in fare of all Mail/Express and Intercity trains on advance reservation.

The Divisional Superintendents are requested to implement the updated Fare Table enforced with effect from 2nd September 2023 at all concerned stations & booking/reservation offices accordingly The Fare Table will be available at PR website. The Pakistan Railways will run four special trains to facilitate passengers on Eid-ul-Fitr. Pakistan Railways runs special Eid trains every year to facilitate passengers heading to or coming from Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Quetta.

The fare will be rounded off accordingly as per letter No 2-M&R/8029/Rates issued by this office. It is requested to repeat above instructions to all booking and reservation offices as v/ell as to stations in order to ensure compliance.
