Eligible applicants must Participate for an admission examination administered by the Pakistan Marine Academy after submitting their application forms. The test assesses the candidates’ understanding of topics like general knowledge, English, mathematics, and physics. Application forms received with false, tampered or illegible form will be rejected summarily and no appeal against its rejection would be entertained. Candidates awaiting results to provide HSC (1st Year)/Equivalent marks sheet alongwith & a Certificate from their College Principal that they have a good chance of passing the HSC/Equivalent Examination at least 55% Marks. If Candidate’s own Domicile has not been issued then attach father’s domicile. Any change of postal address should be promptly notified to the Officer Incharge Admissions Pakistan Marine Academy.

Batch of Nautical (Deck) & Marine Engineering Cadets (Session 2024 – 2025)

Unmarried male citizen of Pakistan. Age not more than 20 years as on 31 December 2023. FATA/Gilgit Biltistan/ AJK/ Balochistan not more than 21 years as on 31 December 2023 (One Year Age Relaxation).

The candidates must have passed F.Sc Pre Engineering or O/A Level with Subject combination (Physics. Chemistry & Mathematics) having at least 55% marks. Candidates of O/A Level must submit Equivalence Certificate. F.Sc/ A Level Part-ll appearing candidates with at least 60% marks in Part-I con also apply. Hov/ever. they have to provide Hope Certificate from the head of respective college/ institute.

If a candidate fails to attain 55% marks in F.Sc after providing Hope Certificate he will be disqualified at any stage of selection process or discharged during training. Submit application form through Courier Services along with pay order/ bank draft of Rs. 3,000/- in favour of Pakistan Marine Academy. Karachi. National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), PMA Branch Code-0239 (PO/DD from any bank is accepted).

Candidates applying under Self Finance Scheme (SFS) are to submit additional pay order/ bank draft of Rs.300.000/- along with the application form. SFS fee will be refunded in case the candidate selected on open-merit or do not meet PMA eligibility criteria 02 Years residential training will be conducted at PMA. Upon completion of training award of Associate Degree in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering by NED University of Engineering Technology. Karachi.

Certificates of International Mantime Organization (IMO) recognized Pre-Sea Mandatory Courses. 37 Fully paid scholarships are offered to Cadets; 33 need-based scholarships are sponsored by Ministry
of Maritime Affairs and 04 need-based Scholarships are given by Global Radiance Group of Companies. Distribution of 33 noed-basod scholarships, sponsored by Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

Submitting tampered academic certificates/ mark- sheets/ documents. Concealment of information in the application form or submitting incomplete application or providing false information. Withdrawn from any academy/ training institution including that of Armed Forces on disciplinary grounds. Dismissed/ Removed/ Debarred/ Resigned from Government Service including Armed Forces. Convicted by a court of law for offence involving moral turpitude or any other offence Non-Combination of Subjects and Diploma holder (DAE) are not eligible. Declared Medically unfit by an Armed Forces hospital/ Appeal Medical Board.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Entrance Test will be conducted at Abbottabad, Gwadar Karachi. Lahore. Multan. Muzaffarabad (AJK).
Peshawar. Quetta. Rav/alpindi, Sukkur through hired Testing Agencies. Minimum 50% marks are required 1o qualify entrance test. Medical examination of shortlisted candidates will be conducted at designated Army/ Navy Hospitals. Final selection will be done in order of merit which include F Sc. Marks. Entry Tost Marks, Medical, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & final interview PET and interview v/ill be conducted after Medical Examination. Final Interview and PET dates ’will be updated on PMA website and same will be communicated to candidates.
