Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Plane crashed near Karachi Airport which is coming from Lahore with Ninty one Passengers and eight Staff members. Ansar Naqvi director of programming for a private TV channel was Among the passengers.
PIA flight PK8303 was scheduled to land at Jinnah International Airport at 2.40 pm.
The PIA Fight PK 8303 with passenger was coming from Lahore Airport to Karachi and crashed in a residential colony of the Model Town area adjacent to the airport shortly before landing. The plane crash was destroyed several houses, causing a stampede in the area. The plane was on a landing approach when it crashed into the population of Jinnah Garden near Malir Model Colony, just a few kilometers from the Jinnah terminal at Karachi Airport.
The crashed flight was Specially operated on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. The flight took off at 01:10 pm and reached Karachi on time. However, the PIA flight lost contact with the control room just moments before landing.

According to civil aviation sources, the PIA plane lost contact with the air control radar at 02:37 AM and later Captain Sajjad Gul informed the air control tower about the malfunction in the landing gear of the plane.
The plane suffered a technical malfunction and the tires of the plane were not opening shortly before landing, while the pilot of the plane also called the traffic control ‘May Day’.
An audio recording of the last contact between the IELTS and the Traffic Control Tower also came to light, in which the pilot reported an engine failure and later made a ‘May Day’ call, telling the control tower that two runs had been made for the plane to land. They are available, but the plane could not be reconnected.

Civil Aviation has confirmed the crash of PIA’s Airbus A320. The plane was carrying 99 passengers and eight crew members. According to sources, the captain of the plane is Sajjad Gul and the crew includes Usman Azam, Farid Ahmed, Abdul Qayyum Ashraf, Malik Irfan Rafiq, Asma and Madiha Iram.
