PAKISTAN ENGINEERING COUNCIL (PEC) PRACTICE EXAMINATION 2020

Pakistan Engineering Council under the provisions of PEC Act, 1976 and PDE Byelaws-2008,
(amended up to October 31, 2017) is holding 16th Engineering Practice Examination (EPE) for Registered Engineers (REs) to get prestigious title of Professional Engineer (PE).

The exam will be held simultaneously in the following Cities on October 25,2020 (Tentative):

Islamabad Peshawar Lahore Quetta Karachi

 

The candidates who have applied for 16th EPE (Spring-2020) are not required to submit their applications afresh. However, their eligibility will be subject to fulfillment of above criteria. Further, the candidates who have already appeared in 13th, 14th and/or 15th EPE but could not qualify any part of the exam can also apply to re-appear in the NOT QUALIFIED
part.
All interested engineers fulfilling the above criteria may apply on the prescribed form available on PEC website www.pec.org.pk/cpd_epe_App.aspx along with fee of Rs. 5000/- + Bank Charges (details of PEC online bank accounts available at www.pec.org.pk/Accountlnfo.aspx and attested copies of valid CNIC, PEC registration certificate, work experience certificate) and two recent passport size photographs (attested on back side). The applications complete in all respect should reach to the following address by 31st July 2020. Application form, examination format, EPE syllabi, study material and necessary guidelines are available on PEC website (www.pec.org.pk) under CPD.

PAKISTAN ENGINEERING COUNCIL (PEC) PRACTICE EXAMINATION

As per PEC Act. 1976 amended up to December 01.2016. the PE has privilege over “RE” in terms of technical sanction authority, design/ process certification, and preference for higher levels leading towards international practice. All those engineers who are registered with PEC as Registered Engineers (RE) in April 2005 and thereafter, having proven professional experience of five years from the date of initial registration with PEC till closing date of applications, whether working privately or in the employment of an Engineering Public Organization and also have acquired 17 CPD-Credit Points (w.e.f. 10th July 2010 on wards), are eligible to apply.
