How To Obtain Hajj Permit Without Muharram

The Saudi government has explained the procedure for women to obtain a Hajj permit without Muharram. Saudi women who want to perform Hajj without Muharram can contact the Civil Affairs Department under the Saudi Ministry of Interior. Hajj package of 18 to 20 days will also be given in 2024. The pilgrims themselves will decide about the short Hajj or the 40-day Hajj.

The expenses of short-term Hajj should be equal to the general Hajj. Generally, a Hajj package consists of 35 to 50 days, with accommodation, hotel, food and transport costs added together, making the total expenditure extraordinary.

Applicants can also go to the ‘Apply Online Section’ on the Ministry’s website and provide their information to get the permit. However, non-Saudi women will have to contact the passport department. Permits will be issued to these women from May 5. However, the permit will be given only to those women who have been vaccinated against Corona and have a certificate. Over the years, the appreciation of the dollar against the rupee has made the cost of Hajj unaffordable for a large number of pilgrims. This is the reason that in this year 2023, Pakistani citizens submitted less than the quota number of applications in the official lottery.
