National Counter Terrorism Authority is holding Sort Film Contest 2024 on the the theme of Peaceful Pakistan; A Gateway to Prosperity. The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) invites you to be a part of a transformative initiative – the NACTA Short Film Contest 2024. With the theme “Peaceful Pakistan: A Gateway to Prosperity,” this contest seeks to unearth the storytelling talents of Pakistan’s youth and seasoned filmmakers alike, encouraging them to depict their vision of a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.

COMPETITION GUIDELINES

Duration: Up to 4-7 Minutes
Theme: Peaceful Pakistan “A Gateway to Prosperity”
Audience: All national and international communities
Languages: Urdu

COMPETITION RULES

No Documentaries.
Executional Framework
Dramatized
Slice of Life
Fiction
Animation
Jingle board

Duration: The films shall not be more than 7minutes including credits
Language: The short videos can be in Urdu only however; subtitles must be in English. Script: Must be a scripted film.
Originality: Only original films would be accepted for the competition.
Format: The films may be submitted in HD quality QuickTime H.264 or MPEG4 format. Other acceptable formats are. MWV, MOV, M4V or AVI formats. Recommended aspect ratio is 16:9.
Submissions: Videos can be submitted in DV / HDV or digitally via a recommended file sharing service.
Copyright: The film must not contain any copyrighted or other work(s) belonging to third parties, unless entrants have a license to use such works in the film. Entrants will retain licenses and provide them to the organizers upon request.
Screening / Sharing Rights: NACTA would have the non-commercial screening rights of all the entries to the competition. International entries are welcome.
