Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has conduct second balloting to distribute additional 9,474 quota among the unsuccessful applicants of Government Hajj Scheme Monday on June 03,2019

The Saudi Government had given an additional quota of 16,000 to Pakistan, of which 60 percent (9,474) would be allocated to the remaining applicants of Government Hajj Scheme. All unsuccessful applicants is included in the balloting despite withdrawing money from their respective bank branches. In case of selection they would have to deposit dues within four days time. 216,542 applications were received this year, out of which 107, 526 were declared successful in a balloting conducted on March 11, 2019.

ترجمان وزارت مذہبی امورکے مطابق اضافی حج کوٹے کی قرعہ اندازی آج صبح 10 بجے کی گئی، جس میں 9 ہزار474 افراد سرکاری حج پرجائیں گے۔ گزشتہ 5 سال میں 3 بارمسلسل ناکام ہونے والے 2 ہزار23 درخواست گزاروں کو کامیاب قرار دے دیا گیا۔

سعودی عرب نے پاکستان کومزید 15 ہزار 790 افراد کے لیے کوٹہ دیا تھا۔ اضافی کوٹے میں 9 ہزار 474 افراد سرکاری اور 6 ہزار 316 افراد پرائیویٹ ٹورآپریٹرزکے زریعے حج پر جائیں گے۔

Total additional quota of 16,000, 40 percent (6,526) would be allotted to eligible registered Hajj Group Organisers. As per the Haj Policy 2019 released by the ministry of religious affairs, a total of 200,000 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj this year.

Second Hajj balloting for an additional quota under government scheme is held today in Islamabad. successful applicants will be informed through SMS and those who have withdrawn their Hajj dues will be given time to redeposit the same.
