Students who want to study medicine or dentistry in Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the UHS MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test). It is an essential stage in the application process for medical and dental schools all throughout the nation. Candidates must have their roll number slip in order to register for the UHS MDCAT 2023. The University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore shall conduct the Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT)-2023, on behalf of the Government of Punjab on Sunday, 27th August 2023 in the following 11 cities of the Punjab. Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot and Sargodha.
UHS MDCAT 2023 Download Roll Number Slip
Candidates who will take the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in 2023 have received their roll number slips from UHS. Candidates should go the UHS website, www.uhs.edu.pk, to download their roll number slips. The written exams will be given in Indorun Sindh at Jamshoro University in Hyderabad, as well as at Bilawal Sports Complex in Nawabshah and Khairpur.
UHS Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) Result 2023
The University of Health Sciences will hold entrance exams for admission to medical and dentistry institutes throughout Punjab on November 13 in 8 major cities. In order to do this, 26 centres would be opened in Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, and Sialkot. There are about 50 medical colleges in the province, both public and private. Through the same entrance exam, private medical colleges will also evaluate the candidates’ merit. MEDICAL & DENTAL COLLEGE Admission MDCAT 2023 Issuance of Admittance Card & Important Instructions regarding Entry into Test Centres.
For guidance of the candidates, the following instructions are being issued:
1. How to get print-out of your Admittance Card
(i) It is mandatory for every candidate to get a print-out of his/her Admittance Card bearing his/her roll number and test center.
(ii) The candidate who is registered for Punjab on the PM&DC Portal must download his/her Admittance Card from UHS website www.uhs.edu.pk by clicking “Download MDCAT-2023 Admittance Card” button provided on the Homepage with effect from Friday,18th August 2023.
(iii) To access their Admittance Card, the candidates will have to enter their Full Name and Last Four Digits of their ID (i.e. CNIC/Passport/B-Form) used by them for registration of MDCAT-2023.
(iv) The candidates are advised to download and take a print-out of their admittance card on white, plain, A4 size paper.
Important Instruction regarding entry into the test centres
(i) Before heading out to the test centre, the candidates must make sure that they have the proper address of the centre.
(ii) The entry into the test centres with the following items is strictly prohibited with penalty of immediate removal of the candidate from the centre and cancellation of paper. Cell Phone. Calculator. Books or Notes. Weapons or Arms. Bags. Electronic Devices such as Smart and Digital Watches, Headphones. Bluetooth. Metallic Pens. etc.
(iii) Candidates are advised to be at thee respective test centres from 08:00 AM to 09 00 AM on 27th August 2023. Centres will be sealed at 09:00 AM and nobody will be allowed to enter after that. The test shall start at 10 00 AM and will conclude at 01:30 PM.
(iv) Candidates must bring:
(a) Original CNIC/NICOP/JC/Passport/B-Form (Photocopies are not acceptable). Please bring the same document with which you registered for MDCAT-2023;
(b) A print-outs of Admittance Card issued by the University;
(c) A clean and transparent clip board with nothing written on it:
(d) Two blue ball point pens (not pointers, markers, pencils, jell pens, ink pens, etc ):
(e) A 500ml transparent bottle of drinking water.
(v) A candidate who fails to bring Original CNIC/NICOP/JC/Passport/B-Form and print-out of his/her Admittance Card shall not be allowed to appear in the test. Any other document except those
mentioned above shall not be acceptable for appearance in the test.
(vi) Physical search of candidates will be conducted before entrance into the test centre.
(vii) Parents/relatives will not be allowed inside and around the premises of test centre. Under Section 144 imposed by the Government, there shall be no arrangements for their stay outside the centre due to security reasons. They should drop their children at their respective centres and pick them up after the test.
(viii) No arrangement will be made at the centres for keeping any articles/items belonging to the candidates. In case any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items especially mobile phone inside the centre, ii will be considered as use of unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions of law.
