ADMISSION SPRING 2023
Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Art and Design Education. An HEC-approved M.Phil. Program. This program addresses academics and teachers from primary, secondary, and higher education in an and design, as well as those professionals who engage in teaching in the creative industries and the grassroots empowerment sector, who wish to focus on capacity-building and learning through research and development of curriculum and educational materials.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(1) A candidate seeking admission to the degree must have sixteen years of education or 4 years of education after F.A. / F.Sc. / A-Level or equivalent (at least 130 credit hours) with at least Second Division / CGPA 2.50 in the degree on the basis of which admission is requested and qualified a GRE (General) Type Test.

Outstanding candidates without prior education m art and design fields may be considered however, they will be required to complete additional credit hours for deficiency courses up to 30 credits of art and design pre-requisite coursework to qualify for degree award. Deficiency courses should be completed in 1 year after getting admission in M.Phil. Art and Design Education program after the completion of required deficiency courses a student will commence their M.Phil. Art and Design Education degree.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
(1) Complete the Admission Application packet and submit it by hand or by post to the Registrar’s office along with a fee of Rs. 1500 cash or by post Rs. 1700 Bank Draft in the name of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design by the last date for application submission (November 30,2022). The Admission form and Program Brochure can be downloaded online at www.pifd.edu.pk. (Candidates should submit their applications along with proof of online/cash payments of Rs. 1700/- for their application fee into A/c # 50397000268851 (HBL. Johar Town, Branch,Lahore.)
(2) All items in the Admission Application packet should be tallied with the Admission Application Checklist provided in the application form. This checklist is also available online at www.pifd.edu.pk
(3) Appear for a mandatory Admission Entry Test at PIFD on December 4,2022
(4) Appear for a mandatory Interview at PIFD, if shortlisted, on December 8,2022
Admission opening date: Monday, October 31, 2022.
Las date to submit the admission application is Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Admission Entry test on Sunday, December 04, 2022, at 10:00 am.
Display of list of applicants shortlisted for interview on Tuesday. December 06, 2022.
Interviews on Thursday, December 08, 2022.
Display of list of admitted students on Friday, December 09, 2022.
Last date of payment of dues on Friday, December 23, 2023.
Commencement of Classes: Monday, January 09, 2023.
