اِنَّا اَنْزَلْنٰـہُ فِیْ لَیْلَۃِ الْقَدْرِ یعنی بیشک ہم نے قرآن مجید کو شب قدر میں نازل کیا۔
لَیْلَۃُ الْقَدْرِخَیْرٌ مِنْ اَلْفِ شہر یعنی شب قدرہزار مہینوں سے بھی زیادہ بہتر ہے ہزار مہینوں کو اگر سالوں میں تبدیل کیا جائے تو یہ تراسی سال چار ماہ بنتے ہیں
تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَئکَۃُ وَالرُّوْحُ فِیْہَا بِاذْنِ رَبِّہِمْ مِّنْ کُلِّ اَمرٍ سَلٰمٌ کہ فرشتے اور روح القدس یعنی جبرئیل ؑ اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے ہر امر خیر کو لے کر زمین پر اترتے ہیں اور یہ رات سراپا سلامتی ہے
ہِیَ حَتیَّ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْر یعنی وہ شب فجر کے طلوع تک رہتی ہے
