KARACHI: K Electric will issue revised electricity bills to residential customers using 200 units or less. Non-Time of Use (NTU) residential consumers consuming 200 or less units of electricity after the notification issued by the Ministry of Energy regarding the amendment in Fuel Charges Adjustment (FCA) of June 2022 It will issue revised bills for August. The revised bills can be obtained from K Electric’s customer care center from August 26.

For the convenience of the concerned customers, the power utility has extended the bill payment date till August 30, while the customer care centers of KE will remain open beyond their scheduled hours. On Fridays and Saturdays, KE Customer Care Centers will serve customers till 8:00 pm, while on Sundays till 5:00 pm.
According to the Chief Marketing and Communication Officer of K Electric, all non-time-of-use residential customers with electricity consumption of 200 units or less should contact our nearest care centers to get revised bills for the month of August. They will be exempted from fuel adjustment charges, the non-TOU category generally includes consumers whose sanctioned load is less than 5 kW.

To receive your monthly electricity bill via email, please fill out the form with the 13-digits Account Number written on the top right hand of the KE Bill. Enter your Consumer Number, Mobile Number, and Email Address.

The billing statement acts as a reconciliation statement from the previous to the current amount payable. It shows customers their outstanding dues (if any), their recent transactions including any payments made, the amount for their current month’s consumption, and the total payment due.

KE Live app :

K-Electric has launched the KE Live app for its consumers. The app, which allows access to a variety of services, is available on the App Store for iPhone users as well as on the Google Play Store for Android users. Alternatively, the app can also be downloaded from the web portal, https://live.ke.com.pk.

With smartphone penetration in Pakistan on the rise and with most users residing in the largest urban center of Karachi, it only makes sense to launch an app. After signing up the user will have access to a number of features such as billing details with historic data, duplicate bill downloads, and integrated unit consumption comparative graphs.

Other features include live power status updates, the ability to report power theft and to lodge complaints. Consumers will also be able to use the app to locate their nearest customer care center.
