Islamabad Local Body Election 2022 Schedule

Election symbols will be allotted to the candidates for the Islamabad local body elections on December 1, while polling will be held on December 31. In Islamabad, submission of appeals against nomination papers for local body elections is going on, decisions on appeals will be taken on November 28.

Islamabad Local Body Election 2022 Schedule

Candidates will be able to withdraw their nomination papers till November 30, election symbols will be allotted on December 1, polling for local body elections in Islamabad will be held on December 31.

 Federal Minister for Science and Technology Shibli Faraz said that 50 machines for training and testing are being provided to the Election Commission immediately. The Election Commission has fixed April 15 as the date for Islamabad local body elections. Before April 15, 3900 EMMs will be provided to the Election Commission.

The initial publication of the delimitation will be on January 8,2022 while the objections against the delimitation will be from January 9 to 23,2022.

According to the announcement, the final publication of the delimitation will be on February 16,2022. Immediately after the delimitation, the Election Commission will issue the schedule for the Islamabad Local Government Election.
