VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT UNIT (PMU) FOR PS DP PROJECT “INTER- PROVINCIAL CONNECTIVITY ECONOMIC CORRIDOR THROUGH CILC.IT – BALTISTAN & AJK (THALLICHI C,B- SHOl’N’TER A.IK> LENGTH (Package – I TO IV) = 103 KM LENGTH (Package – V & Vlh = 18 KM TOTAL LENGTH = 121 KM BACK GROUNC:

The Provincial Govt, has received funds from Federal Govt, for implementation of the PSDP Project titled INTER-PROVINCIAL CONNECTIVITY ECONOMIC CORRIDOR THROUGH GILGIT – BALTISTAN & AJK (THALLICHI GB- SHOUNTER AJK) LENGTH (Package – 1 TO IV) = 103 KM LENGTH (Package – V & MI) = 18 KM TOTAL LENGTH = 121 KM.

For smooth implementation of the Project, Office of the Project Director intends to hire services of the following technical and support staff purely on contract basis having domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan; for the establishment of Project Management Unit (PMU). Applications are invited from eligible candidates having the prescribed qualification, experience and age limit as shown against each below:

Terms and Conditions:

Preference will be given to the candidates applying for the positions at Sr. No. 1,3 & 5 having specific experience of Roads /Highways and Bridges projects.

Initial appointment of the selected candidates will be made for one year period extendable based on satisfactory performance and continuation of the project / till project life.

Candidates having domicile of Gilgit-Baltistan are only eligible to apply except for position at sr. No 2&7. Applicant already working in Govt, departments/semi Govt, should apply through proper channel.

All the above position will be filled as per project need. No TA/DA is admissible for test / interview. Incomplete documents will not be entertained. Application received after the Closing date will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/ interview.

The number of positions can be increased or decreased based on actual requirement. Relaxation in upper age limit will be treated as per Govt, rules.
