Green & Blue Lines Bus Service in Islamabad Fare and Routes

Free travel will be provided to the public on Green and Blue Line for one month which will benefit people from all walks of life. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has inaugurated Blue Line and Green Line Metro Bus Service routes in Islamabad. The increase in the fares of the metro bus service running on all routes of the federal capital Islamabad will be effective from October 1.

Rawalpindi Three new routes ready to provide the best transport service to the people of Islamabad. These buses will run at intervals of 15 minutes from 06:00 am to 10:00 pm. The service will be absolutely free for the first 30 days, no fare will be charged from the citizens. A shuttle bus service was also launched from Bara Kahu Bazaar to facilitate the suburbs.

Green & Blue Lines Bus Service in Islamabad Fare and Routes

  1. Green Line: Bara Kahu to PIMS Hospital
  2. Blue Line: Gulberg to PIMS Hospital
  3. Orange Line: Peshawar Moore to New Islamabad Airport

Due to the narrowness of Rawat and Bara Kahu roads, small electric buses will be run which will take passengers to the metro stop. Islamabad green line bus route map.

 

Green & Blue Lines Bus Service in Islamabad Fare and Routes

The service will connect Bhara Kahu, GT Road, Koral and Rawalpindi through the Green, Orange, Blue and Red Lines. The bus service will run from Bhara Kahu to PIMS (Green Line) The 15.5 kilometres long route will have eight stations and from Koral to PIMS (Blue Line). The 20 kilometres long route will have 13 stations. The two lines will merge with the Red Line and from the Faiz Ahmad Faiz bus stop, passengers can take the Orange line to Islamabad International Airport.

 

For the first 30 days this service will be absolutely free, no fare will be charged from the citizens. Coral shuttle bus service has been launched from PWD for the convenience of the citizens of the suburbs.
