GPOs NADRA System to Provide NADRA Facilities

GPOs have installed devices connected to NADRA system to provide NADRA facilities. Post office counters have facilities for renewal of identity cards and change of marital status, issue of replacement of lost identity cards is also available at these counters. Identity cards can be renewed from the post office up to one year after expiry. With the cooperation of NADRA and Pakistan Post, citizens will now get the facility of changing, modifying and renewing their identity cards from post offices. Citizens will be able to get other facilities including modification and renewal after loss. The Citizens will be able to get NADRA facility from post offices.

GPOs NADRA System to Provide NADRA Facilities

Biometric facility of blood relation is not available in post office, however renewal of the form is mandatory from grade 16 officer. Change of home address, signature and photo modification can also be done at the post office. Facilities for issuing FRC and B forms are not available at Pakistan Post Office. Pakistan Post Office has a 10-year contract with NADRA for setting up ID card counters.

In order to give services to citizens about National Identity Cards, counters have been put up in ten General Post Offices (GPOs) in Karachi. Devices connected to the NADRA system have also been deployed to provide NADRA functions.
