FJWU M.Phil / Ph.D Admission 2024 Apply Online

FJWU offers following MS/M.PhiL / Ph.0. Programs, consisted with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria/requirements, these programs require full time student enrollment for course work:

For admission in M.Phil. Applicants are required to have:

Application Form: Admission form_(M.Phil_Ph.D_(Spring_2024)

For Semester System:
Minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.0 and 3.5 out of 5 in sixteen years of education (Masters / BS 4 years) from any HEC recognized university/institution.

For Annual System:
1st division in sixteen years of education (Masters / BS 4 years) from any HEC recognized university /institution.

A minimum score of 50 in the GAT General Test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) OR Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) conducted by Higher Education Commission – Education Testing Council (HEC-ETC), prior to admission to all M. Phil Programs.

NOC from the employer (if applicable)

For admission in Ph. D applicants are required to have:

Minimum CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 and 4.0 out of 5.0 (in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in M. Phil/M.S/Equivalent from any HEC recognized university.
A minimum score of 60 in GAT subject test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS), or ETS, USA in the area of specialization chosen at the Ph.D. level (Prior to admission to the Ph.D. Program)
Supervisor’s Consent Letter
NOC from the employer (if applicable).

N.B. Preference will be given to the students who have completed MS/M. Phil with Research Thesis.

Applications are invited for Ph.D. in the following department: Economics

The application form can be download (click here) and filled form/s can be sent to the Admission Office along with a pay order/bank draft of Rs.1200/- in favor of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi through post/courier/by hand. All information regarding Interview and Merit Lists would be displayed at University Notice Board and FJWU web-site. No Call letters would be sent for interview/admission offer/commencement of classes.

Note: MS/M.Phil. classes in any degree program will not be initiated, if the number of enrolled students is less than S. 02 % quota is reserved each for disabled / special persons and minorities.
