ISLAMABAD: In the first phase, physical tests on 1.3 million applications for FIA recruitment will begin next September. According to Express News, the first phase of physical tests will start from September on 1.3 million applications for recruitment in 1139 vacancies in various categories from Grade 1 to Grade 15 in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) across the country. Call letters will be issued to the candidates this week. Only those who pass the physical test will be issued call letters for the written test and those who pass the written test will have phased interviews, medical tests, etc.

The application submission date has been extended in the public interest, with the Interior Ministry and the FIA ​​issuing the necessary orders. So far, more than 800,000 applications have been received for the jobs.

Applicants are advised to use EMAIL IDs other than yahoo as the yahoo server is blocking the bulk traffic receiving from a single Email ID. The applicant will paste his/her picture on registration slips (hard copy) after printing. Applicants use the “Forgot Password?” option if they receive the message as “Already Registered”.

Those applicants who are unable to log in on the FIA Web portal, can change their password using “Forgot Password?”Those applicants who have issues regarding Captcha Verification are advised to use Mozilla Firefox. Also, clear browsing data to handle the said issue. Internet speed should be stable.

The Home Minister took note of the public complaints that the portal was repeatedly inactive and hung due to unusual load on the job web portal and extended the date.

INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING REGISTRATION
Note: Applicants must use Laptop/Desktop while using the FIA Web portal. Mobile is not preferable.

1: If you are not registered at the FIA web portal, click the “Register as a new user” in the left panel. This will take you to the registration page where you will provide personal details like Name, Father Name, CNIC, Email Address, and Phone Number.

2: For verification of email, code (OTP) will be sent to your email. Provide that code to verify your email. Send OTP will be valid for 15 minutes only.

3: Provide valid mobile numbers for future correspondence.

4: To complete the registration process click on submit button. After submission, it will take you to the page where you can set your password. Password must have at least one special character, digit, and at least one letter in uppercase (‘A’-‘Z’).

5: After completion of the above process, you will be redirected to the login page.

6: Login using your email and password. A login code (OTP) will be sent to your email for verification purposes only. Provide that code to authenticate yourself. At each log in the same procedure of authentication will be followed.

After successful registration, if the applicant could not complete the process of creating a password for his/her account due to any reason i.e. power failure, Internet disruption, etc. then the applicant must follow these steps to generate the password for his/her account.
a.   Visit the login page at jobs.fia.gov.pk
b.   Click on the ”Forgot Password” link to proceed further.
c.   Provide your registered email address and click the “Email Link” button.
e.   After that you will be redirected to a page where the applicant can set his password for his account.

Subject: Guidelines to change the password for the applicant’s account.

To change your current password, follow the steps given below.
a.   Visit the Login page at jobs.fia.gov.pk
b.   Click on the ”Forgot Password” link below to proceed further.
c.   Provide your registered email and click the “Email Link” button. After that a confirmation link will be sent to your registered email address.
e.   Sign in at your registered email account and click on the link being sent to you for confirmation purposes.
d.   After that you will be redirected to a page where the applicant can change the password for his account.

Note: Applicants should visit this portal frequently regarding different updates like Test date assignment and Center’s allocation for physical & endurance tests.
