ISLAMABAD: The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced revised working hours for schools and colleges coming under the jurisdiction of the federal capital during Ramadan.

The notification issued by Director Academics FDE Saadia Adnan states that the morning shift in schools and colleges will start at 08:00 am and end at 12 noon in the month of Ramadan from Monday to Friday.

As for the evening shift, schools and colleges will be open Monday through Thursday at 12:30 pm and will close at 04:30 pm. The Friday evening shift will begin at 02:00 p.m. and end at 04:30 pm.

Sadia Adnan has directed all Area Education Officers and Heads of Institutions to inform the students about the revised hours of schools and colleges during Ramadan before the end of the academic week.
