The matric exams of elective subjects will start from July 10 and continue till July 30. Grade 9 and 11 examinations would be taken in August 2023. The FBISE will announce SSC part-II and Intermediate examination results in September 2023.
Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad, commonly known as FBISE is the federally governmental body for intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan and abroad.
All seven education ministers across the country, including the federal capital Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Azad Jammu, and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, have agreed to take any class this year, including first-year and ninth, without examination, as they did last year. Will not be promoted but this time the order of examinations has been changed in the light of which students of class 10th and second-year will have to get admission in colleges or universities so their papers will be taken first while 9th and first-year The exams will be held later. The final dates of the exams are as follows.
Matric 10th class 19th June, Intermediate 12th class 6th July, Matric 9th class 20th July Intermediate 11th class 5th August, Matric and Intermediate practicals will not be available, 50% marks of practicals will be given to all students while the remaining 50% marks will be given for part-second. In addition to the average of Marks of Theory, the same number of marks as a student of Matric and Intermediate Part-II will get in Part-II will be given to him in Part-I, but this year Matric and Intermediate Part-II will be given. A decision could not be taken on the proposal to give 3% extra marks in Part-I to students who did not appear for Part-I last year.
The practical examinations for computer science, art and model drawing, and all technical subjects will begin on June 25.
It is hereby notified for the general information of all concerned that SSC Part I & II Annual Exams 2022 of the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad shall commence with effect from Tuesday, the 13th March 2022 according to the schedule given below:
Educational and tourism activities have been restored in all districts except 16 in Punjab, 21 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Quetta in Balochistan on the condition of full implementation of SOPs. However, restrictions remain in place in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, and Sindh. Educational institutions that did not open on May 24 will also open on June 7. All matriculation and intermediate examinations will be held after June 20.
Roll number slips of regular candidates of SSC and HSC Part II can be collected from their institutions while former/private candidates have been sent to the address in the admission forms. If any candidate does not receive any slip of the role of former/private candidates, they can either download it from the FBSE website www.fbise.edu.pk
