Important Instructions for MDCAT Entry Test 2024

Students must reach their examination center 2 hours before start of the test because centers will be closed before 1 hours start of the examination.

All candidates are directed to bring their original CNIC or Bay Form.

Only Blue ballpoint or pen is allowed to fill the MD Cat Examination. No highlighter, no marker, and no LED pencil is allowed.

MDCAT Test duration Is 3.5 hours and you will not be allowed to change your seat.

No Negative marking will be there in the MD cat paper checking.

ETEA Medical and Dental Colleges Entrance Test Result 2024

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) will declare the result of the Entrance test for Medical and Dental college admission on the ETEA official Website www.etea.edu.pk.

More than 46 thousand students will participate in the entrance test to be held today for admission to medical and dental colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 11 centers have been set up in KPK for the test. More than 2,000 police personnel will perform security duties during the test.

Eligibility Criteria
It is suggested to allow students with 65% marks to appear in the Medical Entry test. Last year students with a minimum of 70% marks were allowed to appear in MDCAT. The Balochistan government had objected that the number of students in Balochistan who scored 70% in Interscience was very low. Given this objection of Balochistan, 65% in FSc pre-medical has been made compulsory for students aspiring for admission to medical colleges across the country this year.

There are two hundred questions in the ETTEA Entrance test 2024 and two hundred marks are allowed in the examination Negative Marking each question carries one mark. The time duration to attempt the paper was 150 minutes (2 hrs 30 minutes). MDCAT 2023 Passing Marks
Also, a minimum of 33% marks is set as passing marks for MDCAT. Students scoring less than 33% marks on the entrance test will not be admitted to medical colleges. In this regard, a meeting was also held under the chairmanship of the Provincial Secretary of Health regarding admissions in medical colleges of Sindh in which the heads of all government and non-government medical colleges of the province including Dow University, and Jinnah Sindh Medical University participated.
