Eid Ul Fiter Moon Sighting in Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Royal Court and Moon Sighting Committees in United Arab Emirates (UAE) will meet after Magrhib prayers Monday 3rd June 2019. The first day of Eid al Fitr 2019 will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday 4th June 2019 if the new moon is sighted today.If Not sighted today then tomorrow will be 30th Ramadan 1440H and the Eid al Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday 5th June 2019.
The committee will hold a meeting after Maghrib prayer on Monday, June 03, 2019 corresponding to 29th of Ramadan 1440H at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. Likewise, The Saudi Royal Court will also meet after Maghrib prayers today to decide the first day of Ramadan based on the moon sighting reports it will receive.
Special arrangements have been made and general appeals have also been issued to the masses by the authorities in Qatar and other Gulf states including Jordan, Kuwait, Muscat, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Tunisia, Iraq, Syria and Palestine to sight the Eid moon today on Monday June 03, 2019 corresponding to 29th Ramadan 1440H of the Islamic Calendar.
Shawwal moon has been sighted in the Saudi Kingdom and United Arab Emirates. Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on 4th June 2019. Eid Al-Fitr celebrations will begin in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, June 4, the Saudi Supreme Court has announced. The final announcement of Shawwal moon sighting in Saudi Arabia will be made by the Makkah Grand Mosque.
Abu Dabhi Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has officially announced sighting of moon in the UAE and Eid-ul-Fitr on June 4.
Indonesia has announced that Tuesday will be the last day of Ramadan and that Eid Al Fitr will be on Wednesday, June 5, stating that the moon sighting will not be visible today,The moon sighting committee in Japan and Malaysia also announced that the first day of Eid Al Fitr is on Wednesday.The Islamic Centre in Thailand has announced that the final day of Ramadan is on Tuesday and Wednesday 5 June will be the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
Muslims in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other South Asian countries will sight the moon on Tuesday June 04, 2019 corresponding to 29th of Ramadan in the region.
