Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched the Corona Vaccination Campaign in Pakistan and you can register at www.covid.gov.pk. The first vaccine was given to a doctor at the Prime Minister’s House. PM Imran Khan said that the friendly country is grateful to China, the vaccine will be distributed fairly in all provinces.

Dial 1166 number has been provided for persons above 65 years of age where they can register their identity card for vaccination.

The nationwide corona vaccination campaign will begin today. Arrangements have been made in all the provinces. In the first phase, frontline workers will be vaccinated.

How to get Corona Vaccine in Pakistan

Every citizen will be vaccinated free of cost. Preparations for the corona vaccine have been completed in the provinces. More than 20 centers including Mayo Hospital, Services, General, Mian Mir Hospital have been set up in Lahore. 6,000 health workers at Mayo Hospital will be vaccinated against measles.

1st phase of the Corona vaccination in Pakistan

In Karachi, more than 83,000 doses of the vaccine were delivered by a private airline, which was transferred to cold storage under the security of police and Rangers. Health Minister Azra Pechoho said that the process of vaccination across Sindh would start today. A silent exercise was conducted at New Karachi Children’s Hospital for vaccination.

Touch Jamshoro, MCH Center Shaheed Benazirabad has been made Adult Vaccine Center / AVC in the districts. According to Director Health Karachi, there are 1100 vaccine centers in Karachi while there are 4200 vaccinators across the province who are employees of the health department. For the first time, all arrangements have been made for frontline health workers working in government hospitals in Karachi to be vaccinated against Covid-19.Kovix will deliver the second batch of Corona vaccine to Pakistan in June, while in the second phase, Pakistan will receive 11 million doses of Corona vaccine. Pakistan is in constant touch with Koviks through Gavi.
