CM Punjab Sports Endowment Fund For Training Players

The Punjab government has decided to establish a sports endowment fund of Rs 2 billion. Sports scholarship will be given to the players from the sports endowment fund. Not only Punjab but also players from other provinces will be sent for training abroad. Athletes, wrestling, boxing, hockey, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, The athletes of javelin and other sports will be trained.

The Chief Minister said that sports arenas will be provided for athletes in the province. The endowment fund will be spent for the welfare of the players. He said that there is immense talent among our players and training of players from international coaches is necessary to improve this talent.

Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi made a big announcement for the promotion of sports in the province. Sports Endowment Fund of Rs. 2 billion will be sent to foreign players for training. International coaches will also be invited to Pakistan to train local players.
