CM Punjab School Nutrition Program Sehet Bhi Taleem Bhi Milk Packs

Lahore: The first and largest school nutrition program in the country’s history has been launched in Punjab. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Chief Minister School Nutrition Program Pilot Project in DG Khan. Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Muzaffargarh have a higher proportion of malnourished children.

The project has been started in South Punjab – more than 4 lakh students suffering from nutritional deficiency will be given nutritious milk packs, children will submit empty milk packs to school – the income from recycling of empty wrappers will be given to the respective schools.

CM Punjab School Nutrition Program Milk Packs details

Packs of nutritious milk will be given to primary school students to alleviate malnutrition. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz went to every class of Dera Ghazi Khan Government Primary School and gave milk packs to the children. Maryam Nawaz asked the children about their health and education.

Chief Minister School Nutrition Program Pilot Project

The pilot project of the Chief Minister School Nutrition Program has been started in three districts of South Punjab. These districts include Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Ramzafargarh. Packs of nutritious milk will be given to more than 4 lakh malnourished students.

CM Punjab School Nutrition Program Milk Packs per Day

Students of 3,527 schools in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Ramzafargarh will get a 175 ml milk pack per day. Children will submit the empty milk packet to the school. The proceeds from the recycling of empty packets will be spent on the school concerned.
