Cadet College Skardu is one of the well established and well-known military high schools that are located in Skardu. This College was recognized in the year 2001 and is the first institution that is to be set up in the place of Gilgit Baltistan.
The college is funded by the Federal Government and is being administered by the Ministry of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs. The main campus of this college has been founded in the center of Skardu valley next to the Skardu airport in Hotto town. This college has been all involved in providing with the secondary level of education in science and higher secondary education in the Pre-Engineering: Physics and pre-medical. Apply Online, Test Result. Cadet College Skardu is one of the government recognized Cadet Colleges of Pakistan and unique of its kind in Gilgit Baltistan. Within a short span of time, it has achieved remarkable success. It would not have been possible if the Government and particularly the Army had not taken a keen interest in the educational uplift of Gilgit Baltistan. There was a dire need of an institution, which could integrate the youth of Gilgit Baltistan with the rest of the country through quality education and personality development. Keeping this objective in view the Government approved the project of Cadet College Skardu in 1992.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed the 7th class examination from any recognized school
Age Limit: 12 to 14 years on 1st April. 2023.
The applicant must be medically and physically fit.
Students of the 7th class may also appear in the entry test conducted by CCS. Such students will have to furnish hope certificate issued by the head/principal of their current educational institution
Admission Entry Test
Cadet College Skardu conducts admission entry test for all candidates who want to get admission in any class. Cadet College Skardu will organize the entry test on 05 March. 2022 at Lahore. Gilgit. Skardu. Rawalpindi Lahore. Karachi and Sialkot. Pak Army will supervise this entry test. Successful candidates will have to appear in the interview. They will be informed about the date of the interview after the announcement of the result of the entry test.
Prospectus
The prospectus is available forms at the office of CCS. and obtained from the Army Selection and Recruitment Centres. Eligible candidates are directed to send duly filled forms along with three photographs, a copy of domicile and bank draft of Rs.1000 as a registration fee drawn in the name of Principal Cadet College Skardu Draft must be payable in Habib Bank 4-Limited Gamba branch.
The last date for receiving the admission forms: 25th January 2024. Entry Test 18th February 2024.
