The second phase of the annual intermediate examinations for 2024 will begin on Monday, July 8, 2024, in which more than 75 thousand 500 male and female students will participate.

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi ( BISE Karachi) has declared the bise Karachi 9th result of SSC Part I Matric class and all students can check their result with roll number. The results of Class X examinations will be announced on September 15. The results of Class IX examinations will be announced 60 days after the announcement of Class X results. Under the government decision, the Board of Education will give 5% extra marks on the total marks obtained in all subjects of Matriculation and Inter (optional and non-optional) while 3% additional marks will be given in the ninth and eleventh classes.

Board of Intermediate Education Karachi was established as a separate entity in 1974 through the “Sindh Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education amendment act No. 20 of 1973.
This Board has the power to organize, regulate, develop, and control Intermediate Education. The controlling Authority of the Board is the Governor of Sindh or his nominee. The Chairman is the principal executive and academic officer of the Board, while the Secretary is in charge of the academic and administrative Sector and the Controller of Examinations is In charge of the Examination Section.

The above officers and the Audit officer are appointed by the Controlling Authority of the Board, while other officers are also appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the appointment Committee. In the year, 1974, there were only 17 officers and 113 officials, now we have 51 officers and 246 officials. With a view to performing various functions systematically, there are Statutory and non-Statutory committees have been constituted.

The 5% extra marks will not be related to the total marks obtained in all the subjects or the percentage but these 5% extra marks will be included only in the marks obtained in the optional subjects given by the students while the 5% extra marks in the compulsory subjects will be formula.
