The Board of Secondary Education Karachi(BSEK)has announced the schedule for the Secondary School Certificate Annual Practical Examinations 2024 for the science and general groups.

According to BSEK Controller Examinations Syed Mohammad Ali Shaiq, the practical examinations would be conducted from July 27 to August 7. According to the schedule given to the schools affiliated with the board, the original award list and other materials must be submitted to the board’s practical section.

Admission Cards for Annual Examinations 2022 Grade IX and X Science and General Group Regular have been announced from 31st May. At present only Admit Cards of Science and General Group Regular candidates are being issued, Admit Cards of Private General Group Candidates will be announced later.

Heads of all schools or their representatives, along with a separate authority letter for obtaining admission cards of male and female students, along with a copy of their identity card and office card on the scheduled dates from the Matriculation Board’s Conference Hall 1st Floor Block B from 09:30 am to 01:00 pm. Admit cards can be obtained till 00:00 on the given dates.

Ninth and tenth class examinations will begin on July 1 this year across the province. Board of Intermediate Education Karachi will issue a date sheet of Matric Class 9th class and 10th class soon. Board of Intermediate Education Karachi has received examination forms. Matriculation examinations in Sindh will be held from May 20 and Inter examinations from June 10.

The ninth and tenth class examinations will start from July 1 and will continue till July 15. The examinations of the 9th and 10th classes (matriculation) will be started on July 1. The exams of intermediate students, 11th and 12th classes, will be commenced from July 28.

Inter first year (11th class) examinations will be taken after 12th class examinations while elective subject examinations will be taken from 60% syllabus already shortened. In these Inter examination papers, 50% of questions will be taken from MCQs, 30. The percentage will be short answers and 20% will be long, the duration of each leaflet will be 2 hours.

Candidates who wish to appear for the examinations after the last opportunity is required to submit the examination form to the Government Officer of Grade 17 on Tuesday, January 12 to Thursday, March 11 at an examination fee of Rs. This Board has the power to organize, regulate, develop, and control Intermediate Education. The controlling Authority of the Board is the Governor of Sindh or his nominee. The Chairman is the principal executive and academic officer of the Board, while the Secretary is in charge of the academic and administrative Sector and the Controller of Examinations is In charge of the Examination Section.

The above officers and the Audit officer are appointed by the Controlling Authority of the Board, while other officers are also appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the appointment Committee. In the year, 1974, there were only 17 officers and 113 officials, now we have 51 officers and 246 officials. With a view to performing various functions systematically, there are Statutory and non-Statutory committees that have been constituted. The results of the Class X examinations will be announced on September 15. The results of Class IX examinations will be announced 60 days after the announcement of Class X results.
