Balochistan local body election Schedule 2022

Quetta: The first phase of local body elections in Hub and Lasbela districts of Balochistan has been announced, according to which polling will be held on December 11,2022.

The Election Commission has allotted election symbols to the candidates participating in the municipal elections. In this regard, the Election Commission says that the Returning Officer has released the final list of candidates in Hub and Lasbela.

According to the Election Commission, 475 candidates will contest in Lasbela district. 586 candidates will compete in the Hub. Polling for the first phase of municipal elections in Hub and Lasbela will be held on December 11.

Local body elections have been held in 32 districts of Balochistan today for which polling process has started. Regarding the local body elections in the province, the Election Commission of Balochistan said that the distribution of polling materials has been completed. Voting will start from 8 am in 32 districts. Polling materials are being distributed from the offices of returning officers. Arrangements have been completed.

Most of the polling stations in the 32 districts of the first phase are in remote and sensitive areas, 5226 polling stations have been set up in 32 districts, and there are 16195 candidates in these districts, including 132 women, while in 32 districts a total of The number of voters is more than 3.5 million.
