According to the latest International Hockey federation (FIH) list issued on Tuesday, Pakistan have improved four positions after winning the Champions Trophy bronze in Melbourne. The improvement in their rankings should prove to be a major morale-bboster forPakistanas they would be taking a shot at the Asian Champions Trophy title inDohafrom December 20-27.
The top four positions in the table remain unchanged, with London 2012 Olympic Gold medallists Germany still holding the number one spot followed by Champions Trophy winners Australia (2nd), Olympic and Champions Trophy Silver medallists The Netherlands (3rd) and England (4th).
