Islamabad: Prime minister of Pakistan launches “” for the youngsters of this country. This youth program will help the poor and talented students to earn good opportunities of employment, acquiring skills needed for the job, job training and use of computers.
This youth program will ultimately lead to the development of economy of Pakistan. Those students who cannot avail educational opportunities due to financial crises would get benefit from the tuition fee program.
Prime minister has announced six welfare schemes for youth. The program comprises six schemes named as: Micro Interest Free Loans Scheme, Small Business Loans Scheme, Youth Training Scheme, Youth Skill Development Scheme, Fee Assistance Scheme and PM’s Scheme for Laptops Provision.
PM’s Scheme for Reimbursement of Fee of Students from the Less Developed Areas is aimed at encouraging pursuit of higher education by students from less developed areas through financing of their tuition fees paid directly to the universities.
Government of Pakistan would pay the tuition fees of all deserving candidates at master’s level and above. For this purpose, Rs1.2 billion has been allocated which would cover the expenses of some 30,000 students with an average of Rs40, 000 yearly.
