PM Nawaz Sharif Loan Scheme 2013 Eligibility Criteria
Islamabad: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif announced six scheme of different categories with the names of easy business loans, laptops, education and training to engage the youth to work for their country.
It was his secod address with the Nation which he attired in traditional Shalwar Qameez and Waistcoat, in his address he said: “government was going to materialize its program envisaged in the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz manifesto”.
According to his address this scheme is going to address about two hundred and fifty thousand people with the budget of about 3.5 billion rupees. Small Business Loan Scheme has been specially designed for the people who are not able to earn money, they are unemployed specially youth who have completed their Gradutaion and still they are not in the condition to stand on their feet.
Under the scheme loans ranging from five hundred thousand to two million rupees would be advanced to youth at concessionary mark up rate of Nawaz Sharif Loan Schemeeight percent and the remaining burden of the mark up would be borne by the government. Fifty percent loans have been reserved for the women and this loan has been given to the National Bank of Pakistan and First Women Bank. Five billion rupees have been allocated for the scheme.
Students who have completed their sixteen year degree would be awarded with the training to get job in Pakistan or abroad. And during this training they would get 10 thousand rupees monthly as scholarship and about Four billion rupees have been earmarked for this scheme.
The Youth Skilled Development Scheme is being launched for boys and girls who have passed 8th class. They will be given six months training in different trades along with scholarship of five thousand rupees a month. The government has earmarked eight hundred million rupees for the scheme.
PM Nawaz Sharif also announced a scheme for sponsoring tuition fee of students belonging to backward areas so that brilliant students are not deprived of their right to education due to financial constraints. The government would pay at an average forty thousand rupees annual fee on behalf of each of the thirty thousand students for MA‚ M.Sc and higher level education. This scheme is being launched at a cost of 1.2 billion rupees.
The prime minister said four billion rupees have been earmarked for Prime Minister’s scheme for Provision of Laptops. Under the scheme one hundred thousand students would be provided laptops this year by the federal government.
He said the federal cabinet has already approved basic structure of these schemes and arrangements have also been completed for their implementation. He however invited suggestions from people to make these schemes more transparent and hundred percent merit based.
Prime Minister has lunched six different schemes for young talent of Pakistan. Among these schemes 1st one is Qarz-e-Hasana Scheme. Other schemes are listed below.

Government grant for this scheme is 3.5 billion rupees for 2013-14. It will range from 25,000-250,000. It will interest free loan. No mark up will be charged.
