Pervez Musharraf gets nomination papers NA-127 from Lahore
LAHORE: Former president and current chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Pervez Musharraf, has taken polls nomination papers from Lahore’s constituency NA-127.
The Election Commission of Pakistan continued issuance and receiving back filled nomination papers of the candidates across Pakistan on third day today.
Process for receiving nomination papers for 20 NA seats and 42 PA seats from Sindh’s key city Karachi has been beefed up in the metropolis.
The city court will receive nomination papers for District East, West, South and Central and Malir Court will receive for District East of Karachi while NA-251 nomination papers will be received at the judicial complex.
The MQM, PPP, Jamat-e-Islami, Awami League, other parties, and many independent candidates have received nomination papers from Karachi.
Over seven hundred candidates have received nomination papers for 13 NA seats and 25 PA seats from Punjab’s capital city, Lahore.
The PML-N, PPP, Jamat-e-Islami, PTI, MQM, APML, other parties and many independent candidates have taken nomination from Lahore.
Former president Pervez Musharraf has also taken nomination papers from Lahore’s constituency NA-127. PML-N candidate Naseer Ahmad Bhutta is the strongest candidate from this area.
Over two hundred candidates have taken nomination papers for two NA seats and six PA seats from Balochistan’s capital city Quetta.
So far, over sixty candidates have taken nomination papers for four seats of the National assembly and eleven seats of provincial assembly from Peshawar city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
