KARACHI: Former Sindh member of parliament Nadia Gabol who parted ways with Muttahida Qaumi Movement some time before has formally announced to join ruling Pakistan Peoples’ Party. Ms. Gabol announced her decision while addressing a press conference in Karachi. She was flanked by Owais Muzzafar Tappi, Sindh Minister for Local Government. Responding to questions posed by newsmen, Nadia Gabol said differences with party especially on issues like operation in Lyari was main reason behind her decision to proposal departure to MQM. Nadia Gabol is daughter of Sardar Abdul Latif Gabol and niece of PPP collaborator Nabil Gabol who joined the MQM. She openly admitted that inclusion of her uncle in MQM is one of the reasons behind her resignation from the party. She joined the MQM in 2006 after a meeting with its chief Altaf Hussain in London. She served as Human Rights Minister in Sindh cabinet.
