LAHORE: PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif Thursday said that the malfunctioning of the government could not be declared as the failure of democracy.
Address a gathering via telephone in Badin on the occasion of 26th death anniversary of peasant leader Fazil Raho, Nawaz Sharif said that only eight weeks are remaining in the current government’s term.
Criticizing Dr Tahirul Qadri, he said the Minhajul Quran’s leader is staying in a comfortable and bulletproof cabin while children and women are left out in cold.
PML-N president said that those having fear with constitution, law and elections wanted to bring change through sit-in. Public would get a chance to change their fate in forthcoming general elections, he added.
