Allama Iqbal Open University will start spring Semester admission for Matric to PHD Level Different Programs from 1st February 2016 in all over the Pakistan.
Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will open its SSC to PhD-level admissions for the spring semester 2016 in various disciplines from February 1. The last date for the admissions will be March 4, said a press release issued on Sunday. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui directed the Admission Department to provide maximum facilities to the applicants in taking the admission in their desired discipline as well as ensuring availability of admission forms at nearest places.
He also advised all Regional Directors to set up special camp at their offices for the student’s guidance. Necessary steps have already been taken to ensure transparency in the admissions, examination, results and books’ delivery process and complete it within a stipulated time-frame. A computerised and mobile messaging system has also been put in place to keep the students informed about the admissions and to attend their queries. According to Director Admissions Syed Ziaul Hasnain, computerised admission forms will soon be sent to all the continuing students.
